We are a small, values-led school where all children and families are welcomed and celebrated. We build strong relationships within and beyond our local community, investing in our children’s futures by providing an enriched and creative curriculum, taking advantage of our unique locality and inspiring a life-long love of learning with our holistic approach.

We are delighted to welcome you to Brooklands Primary School. We are a friendly, diverse and inclusive school in Blackheath, with a village feel and strong community links.

We believe in a holistic approach to education, focusing on all aspects of development alongside academic achievement through our rich and creative curriculum. Children learn best when they feel happy and safe, and at Brooklands, we aim to establish high levels of social and emotional wellbeing, meaning that the children are in the best position to achieve in their learning.

We have a core set of school values, which are reflected in all we do. We talk about our values as “the roots from which we grow'' at Brooklands, which symbolically links to our very special Brooklands tree. Our values are: curiosity, resilience, empathy, aspiration, togetherness and excellence. We believe that by developing these values alongside a love of learning, the children will be prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for them and ready to thrive in their future. Please explore our website if you would like to find out more, or contact us to arrange a visit.
