Friends of Brooklands are a group of friendly and proactive parents and carers, who work together to organise social events and raise valuable funds for our school. They are such a vital part of ensuring our strong community has a direct impact on the children’s experiences and sense of belonging.

Their ongoing work consists of raising money and supporting our community through:

  • Quiz Nights

  • School discos

  • Movie nights

  • Summer Fair

  • Winter Fair

  • Parent workshops

With the money they have raised over the last few years, they have supported us to organise some valuable projects and enrichment across the school such as:

  • Our gardening project (The Cabbage Patch)

  • Class book areas

  • Theatre trips for all classes

  • Sports workshops

  • Animal experience days (Spirit of the Wild)

  • The school pond

  • Subsidised educational visits

  • Inspiring author visits and workshops

  • Open-ended play resources in KS1

  • End of Year 6 celebrations

  • Our hatching experience and school chickens!
